Bomar 1600-A Sliding Door Features:

Although commonly referred to as patio doors, Bomar’s (Aluminum 2000) salon doors are not residential sliding doors. We have designed the 1600-A doors specifically for marine use, and we believe they are the best in the business. The 1600-A doors also incorporate our famous track and roller system which keeps the doors secure and free of rattles.

Our unique sill design virtually eliminates water entry, even under the worst conditions. The lock stiles are designed wide enough to accept a full range of quality hardware from moderate to maximum security.

1600-A Sliding Door Applications:

The 1600-A Series sliding doors are generally used in an aft bulkhead location as a cabin entry system, and are appropriate for motor yachts, sport cruisers and houseboats.

1600-A Sliding Door Fabrication:

The master frame is of aluminum extrusion and is mechanically assembled for ease of shipment. Door panels are extruded to allow for glazing with 1/4″ tempered glass. Master frame flanges allow for ease of installation.

• Heavy gauge aluminum panels
• Customized to fit the design both in size and shape
• Glass options including full glass, top mounted or double glazed in both the top and bottom of the door
• Robust stainless steel lever handle locksets, available keyed alike
