Bomar 2000 Series High Profile Hatches are made for the open seas. Bomar high profile hatches are a standard for quality with boat builders throughout the world. The reason? These stylish, high performance hatches combine unsurpassed functionality with smooth design lines and features. Constructed for rugged durability, they feature a heavy-duty, extruded aluminum frame and a high-impact acrylic lens. Design features include quick-acting tie-down dogs, taller edge spigot on base frame for added seal area, lockable vent position, trim ring and screen. The option of a shade screen and/or privacy shade is available on some models. For nearly three decades Bomar, a division of Pompanette, LLC, has designed and manufactured the finest ports, hatches, windows, and doors for the marine industry. 2000 Series High Profile
Key Materials
Quality construction, built to last at sea.
- Bomar uses 6061 extruded aluminum to construct our 2000 Series extruded high profile hatches. The extrusions are pressure formed at the Bomar manufacturing facility in New Hampshire.
- The 2000 Series Extruded hatches are professionally assembled in-house with 316L, marine grade, stainless steel fasteners. Stainless steel is ideal for harsh marine environments due to it’s rust & corrosion resistance, strength and luster.
- The 2000 Series Extruded hatches come equipped with a smoked polycarbonate Lexan acrylic lenses as standard. Polycarbonate acrylic lenses provide excellent clarity and durability in harsh marine environments.
